I am a huge Instagram fan. I love seeing people express
themselves through photos of “where they're going and where they've been.”
(Forrest Gump quote-- best movie ever!) Lately, I've been having a blast on Instagram with the #SpringBalance challenge.
For the month of April, four yogi’s & fitness enthusiasts have teamed up to give daily challenges like yoga scavenger hunts where you have to do yoga poses in crazy locations or challenging fitness sequences that push you to work your entire body as well as providing healthy diet tips. They’ve got it covered. We’ve even had to take a pic of our water glass/jug and write a rap song about drinking enough water. Super fun! Even though my participation has been limited due to me being under the weather, I have posted some photos and look forward to doing more. Plus, it's just fun to see everyone else's amazing photos.
What I love about this challenge and others similar on Instagram, is that it creates a community of people encouraging one another to be the best version of themselves. There are some pretty tough exercises but people are trying and having fun in the process. AND it’s a huge source of inspiration, 2013 style! People from all over the world are posting their pics and connecting with each other to inspire and motivate.
If you feel like you’re in a slump with your yoga/fitness routine and need a boost, I highly recommend you hop on Instagram and try this out.
